Ingredients

  • 15 Teaspoons of Cocoa Butter
  • 10 Teaspoons of Shea Butter
  • 6 teaspoons of Vitamin E oil
  • 2 teaspoons of beeswax pellets
  • 10 Drops of Lime Essential Oil
  • 5 Drops of Bergamot Essential Oil
  • 1 Empty Heat Resistant Container (Such as a Mason Jar)
  • 1 Sauce Pan
  • 1 Empty Lotion Container

Instructions

  1. Fill the sauce pan halfway full with water and bring to boil or use double boiler.
  2. Melt beeswax, cocoa butter and shea butter.
  3. Allow the mixture to melt completely.
  4. Remove mixture from heat once they have melted and stir.
  5. Carefully add in Vitamin E oil and stir.
  6. Allow mixture to cool.
  7. Add lime and bergamot essential oils.
  8. Stir until all ingredients are blended.
  9. Pour mixture into heat resistant container.

Ingredients

  • Candle Wicks
  • Beeswax
  • Glass Jars or Other Heat Resistant Containers for Candle Base
  • 1 Heat Resistant Bowl
  • 1 Sauce Pan  (or Double Boiler)
  • Water
  • Jasmine Essential Oil
  • Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
  • Mica Powder for coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your candle base.
  2. Clean candle base and ensure they are dry and ready for use
  3. Place a small amount of glue on the bottom of the wick to secure it to the bottom of the jar
  4. Using a stick, fork or pencil, carefully tape it to the top of the jar and wrap the wick around it to ensure it stays upright.
  5. Fill sauce pan halfway with water, heat on medium/high heat.
  6. Add beeswax into heat resistant container.
  7. Place heat resistant container filled with beeswax carefully into the heated water and stir slowly until completely melted.  (Or use a double boiler)
  8.  Add 4 drops of jasmine and ylang ylang essential oil  (Optional add Mica Powder for coloring)
  9. Use a toothpick or other small instrument to mix the wax and oil. Mix slowly to avoid burning yourself.
  10. While still warm, carefully pour the beeswax mixture into the glass jar or candle container, ensuring that the wick stays upright in the middle of the jar
  11. Let cool for 24 hours.
  12. After 24 hours, trim the wick and enjoy your natural romance candle!

  1. Melt shea butter and beeswax in double boiling pot on stove top.
  2. Once melted, mix in the carrier oil and vitamin E oil.

  4. Carefully mix in the zinc oxide powder. (It is recommended you wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose to avoid breathing in the powder)
  5. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients have blended.

To Use

Wear Summer Appropriate Clothing-

Certain fabrics such as flannel and polyester are not heat friendly and should be avoided during the summer time.   1. Heat Beeswax in double boiler on stove-top.
  2. Once melted, slowly stir in lanolin and olive oil. (and essential oils if preferred)
  3. Mix until all ingredients are blended.
  4. Once mixture cools, pour onto clean surface and lightly knead to form a dough like consistency.
  5. Store in air tight container.

To Use

Allow children to play with mixture by molding dough in their hands. You can use cookie cutters or other toys to create fun shapes.  Ensure children do not ingest the dough and avoid sensitive areas such as eyes and face.

  • 1/2 oz. Cocoa Butter
  • 1 oz. Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 oz. Rose water
  • 1/2 oz. Beeswax
  • 10 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
  1. Melt cocoa butter, coconut oil and beeswax in a double-boiler on stove-top.
  2. Remove from heat once ingredients are fully melted.
  3. Pour into a heat resistant bowl.
  4. Allow to stand until it begins to thicken.
  5. Add in essential oils and rose water.
  6. Use beaters or whisk to whip the mixture as it finishes cooling.
  7. Place in sealed container and store away from kids and pets.

To Use

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (226 grams) Cocoa Butter
  • 10 Drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
  • 8 Drops Orange Essential Oil
  • 1 Empty Heat Resistant Container (Such as a Mason Jar)
  • 1 Sauce Pan
  • 1 Empty Lotion Container

Directions

  1. Fill the sauce pan halfway full with water and bring to boil.
  2. Add cocoa butter into heat resistant container (Such as a mason jar).
  3. Place heat resistant container into water. (Be sure it is not actively boiling, be careful not to burn yourself)
  4. Allow cocoa butter to melt completely.
  5. Remove cocoa butter from heat once it has melted.
  6. Add Essential Oils
  7. Stir mixture until it is cooled but still warm
  8. Stir until all ingredients are blended.
  9. Allow to cool 12 hours. Label and store away from kids or pets.
  10. To Use: Apply to body to naturally moisturize your skin with a romantic, energizing scent.

Lavender Shea Butter Soap Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Shea Butter
  • Optional- 1 teaspoon Purple Mica Powder
  • 20 Drops Lavender essential oil
  • 6oz glycerin soap base

Directions

  1. Place the glycerin soap in microwave and melt for 30 seconds, remove and stir. Repeat if necessary until mixture is completely melted
  2. Slowly add shea butter and stir until melted. If needed, microwave for 30 additional seconds to melt mixture completely.
  3. Add 20 drops of lavender essential oil and mica powder. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the soap mixture into the silicone molds and set aside to cool for 24 hours.
  5. After 24 hours, remove soap from the mold and store in an airtight container to prevent them from drying out.
